So much so that some companies build their corporate culture around straightforward, performance-enhancing feedback. Case in point &#8211;<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pipedrive.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Pipedrive<\/span><\/a><\/strong>, an Estonian unicorn company with $1.5bn valuation, whose Junior Recruiter<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/saskia-rosimannus\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Saskia Rosimannus<\/strong><\/a><\/span> spoke to the Bachelor of BA students at the Delta Management School, University of Tartu. In her presentation &#8216;Feeback Culture at Pipedrive&#8217;, Saskia emphasized the critical impact of feedback on employee evaluation, promotion, and compensation and the numerous tools of recognition company employees use to appreciate each other&#8217;s work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Among the key factors of effective feedback, the Pipedrive way, are the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>describe behavior only, not person;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>don&#8217;t assume or interpret;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>check your own bias, be objective, as fact-based as possible;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>no judging, no labeling;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>speak only for yourself;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>express your feelings honestly and own them;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>speak plainly, clearly, be specific;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>allow freedom for receiver: to change or not;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>feedback is more effective when asked;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>make sure you are understood (ask how the receiver understood you).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex
